The Challenges
Searching for events online can be frustrating
Music concerts, theater shows, movies or a good basketball game - so many events to choose from. Buying tickets can be expensive, both in money and time... How do you find the best price? How do you know about upcoming events, and if there are any tickets left?
Competitor Analysis
Finding out what is missing from other apps
First, I researched other apps that offer tickets. I checked all the options available, what is missing and if they are user-friendly. An app that offers tickets to a wide variety of different entertainment events and attractions was missing.

The Wisdom Of The Crowd
In my survey, I wanted first to know whether people are familiar with an app through which tickets can be ordered for every possible event. In addition, I wanted to find out how often people attend different events, and how they know about upcoming events that fit their interest.

User Needs
I asked my survey respondents to write down some of the problems they have today, Here are some of the needs that they shared with me:
“I hate it when i can not find any discounts for my credit cards or other benefits”
“I always miss events that I like because I didn't see the ads”
“I get confused because there are a lot of event ticket apps to keep track of”
“I'm afraid to buy tickets online, it's hard for me to compare prices”
Main Goals
A deep understanding of the competitive apps and the users, provided me with the insights I needed, there are many types of potential users to my app. I will focus on users who want to Plan in advance but do not have the time to do it.
All events and shows are organized in one app, where users can see full information about the event and also order tickets.
Based on the user's recent searches and bookings, the app will offer similar results and new events before everyone else.
At the time of payment, the app will display possible discounts according to the user's credit card or other promotions.
Wireframe
To plan how the information will be displayed for the user, I did some wireframes sketches, starting with the home screen, to organize all different categories of shows. After a few cups of coffee, I got the idea of how I want my app to be.
Possible Solution
After some extensive sketch work and brainstorming I designed SHOWTIME. The ultimate app for finding and purchasing tickets to all kinds of events! my user friendly platform provides access to upcoming events in your area. With Showtime, you can easily browse and purchase tickets to events of all kinds, and even access special discounts and promotions. The detailed event pages provide all the information you need to plan your next outing, and experience the thrill of discovering new and exciting events near you!
Conclosions
We feel different emotions from every performance we see. Each event has a different theme and colors. This is what I wanted to express in my app design. I created each event with its own shading, according to the color of the event's image. My app provides a solutions for the main problems in searching and finding tickets online.

In this screen, the user can navigate through all categories. This screen also presents a live feed with the last events that the user watched, new events offered to the user, upcoming events by location, a list of the top-selling shows, and also a list of all the events available today, At the top of the screen there is a search bar, to find events by name, location or artist.
